look for beauty

Sat Feb 26, 2005, 3:23 PM
Beauty and creativity in the world we live in is often underplayed. It is destroyed. Things of a truely good nature are constantly being destroyed. I work at a print shop. I am constantly surrounded by machines. It is enough to crush the creative spirit in me. It has actually crushed one man that I know who is working there. He is an artist by training and by heart, yet he feels trapped by the system of making money to live and opperating a machine. It is years that have been taken from his life because of the system in place against him.

What I know is one must look for beauty and one must make it a point to be creative. It will not just happen.

Perhaps in entering into the act of creation, we enter into one of the sacred parts of our human spirit or heart. God the creator created us. In the book of Genisis God creats man from the dust of the earth, but he also creates him by breathing into man the very breath of God. The "pneumatos", the Spirit. Man from this point forward is no longer a dumb animal but a creative being with the Spirit of God in Him. When man does acts creatively He enters into that part of him that God made great and distinctive from the animals and the rest of creation.

Look for Beauty, look for a chance to create. (this is not limited to art)

I love so much critics than the positive comments. But, also, critic is a positive comment also. Thanks so much, and keep to scoping up my work

The first Christian watching my work -- that is the first time that I was getting someone of the faith community active. You got some tight work here as well. Feel free to thumb around the speculative journal as well.

Thanks for the comment; your comments are always so radiating in warmth...now I must ask are you Christian?
:iconnoncontradiction:
Yes indeed i am a Christian.

My Faith is what gives me a basis for all that I do.

that is at least what i hope to show to those around me.

I wish to encourage you as a fellow brother in Christ to higher levels of spiritual maturity.
